Request Account Deletion

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your Something Matters account, you can do so using one of the methods below.

Option 1: Delete from the App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly through the app:

  1. Open Something Matters
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll down to Danger Zone
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

Option 2: Request via Email

If you prefer, you can request account deletion by email:

Send an email to info@tokimono.studio with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account.

We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, email, avatar)
  • All your personal matters and check-in history
  • Your group memberships and activities
  • Private groups you own with no other members
  • All associated data and preferences

Note: Public and shared groups will not be deleted until all members have left. Ownership will be transferred to another member. Check-ins recorded in groups may be anonymized rather than deleted to preserve group statistics and history for other members.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all your tracking history
  • If you're the owner of any groups, consider transferring ownership before deletion
  • It may take up to 30 days for all data to be removed from our backup systems
